DONG Energy is one of the largest energy groups in Northern Europe, headquartered in Denmark. It is one of the country’s largest employers and a leading provider of education through initiatives such as study jobs and apprenticeships.
DONG has twice implemented extensive recruitment campaigns, targeting young people through their preferred media – the mobile. In 2009, the company created two campaigns aimed at recruiting both students for its business administration courses and attracting newly qualified graduates.
Mobiletech worked with Mediaworks to create a mobile campaign that encouraged candidates to ‘text STUDENT / GRADUATE to 1969′ to access a mobile site. Here students could find information on positions available, ask questions and find details about how to apply.
The response was overwhelming and DONG reached the goal set for number of applicants within half of the planned campaign period. .
